About me: I have been collecting coins as a hobby for over fifty years, since I was about 6 years old. It has been a lifelong passion of mine and over the decades I have amassed a healthy collection. Over the last few years I have been focusing my collecting efforts on coins that are of higher interest to me. Like many collectors Morgan Dollars have become a favorite of mine. As I dig through my collection I have realized that a good portion of my coins just aren't of as much interest to me as they were when I was younger. Now that I am retired and have a little more free time on my hands I have decided to start consolidating my collection and buying more coins that I wish to keep and leave to my son/grandchildren. I have decided to team up with my son (he is much better with computers and the internet than I am!) and give eBay a try as it seems to be a great tool for both selling my coins as well as occupying some of my free time. I love to see new people get into the hobby and I am hoping that I can help a few of you out there with your collections or getting your kids and grandkids into coin collecting the same that I have with my son and plan to do with my granddaughter someday!
